Job Description:

 

As a Customer Success Manager at Mitigrate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our insurance clients. You will be responsible for working with our Scandinavian insurance customers, helping them maximise the value of our services, and acting as their advocate within Mitigrate. Your deep understanding of the insurance industry and proficiency in one of the Scandinavian languages will be essential in this role. The position is based in Oslo in our headquarters at StartupLab.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Customer Relationship Management and Social Media Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Mitigrate's insurance customers.

  • Understand each client's unique needs and challenges, tailoring our solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Tailor our social media engagement to the insurance and financial customer niche.

 

Customer Onboarding and Training:

  • Guide new customers through onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition onto the Mitigrate platform.

  • Provide training and education on our services, helping clients to utilise them effectively.

 

Account Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.

  • Proactively monitor customer accounts, identifying potential risks and providing solutions.

 

Customer Advocacy:

  • Advocate for customer needs and requirements within Mitigrate, working closely with our product and development teams to address customer feedback and improve our offerings.

 

Renewals and Upselling:

  • Manage customer renewals and expansions, identifying opportunities for upselling additional Mitigrate services.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer retention and growth.

 

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyse customer usage and satisfaction data, providing insights to improve customer success strategies.

  • Prepare regular reports on customer health and engagement.

 

Startup Flair and Growth:

  • Foster collaboration with the management team to account for customer traction through investment cycles.

  • Eagerness to learn.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in customer-facing roles.

  • Fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) is mandatory.

  • Previous experience in physical climate risk or flood risk is a plus.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of risk management and insurance solutions is a plus.

  • Experience with customer success software and tools is an advantage.
