Flood Performance Certificates: what changes when resilience becomes measurable
Flood Performance Certificates are about to change how flood resilience is measured on residential and commercial property. This breakfast seminar is about what that means in practice.
Join Mitigrate, Lloyd's, Flood Re and DEFRA for a breakfast seminar on what the certificates change for underwriters, surveyors and homeowners.

Flood risk, measured rather than estimated.
Recent flooding and a run of severe storms have put flood resilience back at the top of the agenda for insurers, lenders and regulators. Flood Performance Certificates (FPC) will formalise how resilience is measured on an individual property. That only works if the data behind the certificate can be trusted, and if collecting it doesn't create new work for homeowners and surveyors.
Mitigrate is central to the certificate pilots now running. We build the technology and integration layer that keeps that effort small: for the surveyor standing at the property, and for the insurer relying on the result.
“What does a certificate actually verify, and who can trust the number?”
“How do we learn where water gets into a building without sending the homeowner another form?”
“If a claim is disputed, can we prove where the certificate's numbers came from?”
Why FPC
Guest speakers from Lloyd's, Flood Re, and DEFRA on the intent behind the standard, the pilot design, and the role technology has to play in keeping homeowner and surveyor effort low.
Mitigrate's role in the FPC pilots
What we are building into the FPC pilots, what it implies for investment in resilience measures, and our roadmap for the next twelve months.
Live demos
Predicting where water enters a property, and how much survey work that saves.
Verify: the audit trail and fraud checks that let an underwriter rely on the number.
Integration in practice: Aon
Joe Norris walks through the Aon integration project: how quickly it was set up, how the data feed works without custom build, and a look at the Aon Property Report.
