About the startup:

Mitigrate is a software company targeting physical climate risks such as flooding, landslides, forest fire and their impact on properties. Our software helps customers identify the main threats to their portfolio and provide straightforward solutions to make properties safer. Mitigrate received an investment from the venture capital Antler and is now geared for fast growth. We are also building our industrial research network and working with CICERO and NGI to develop new algorithms for risk mapping. The candidate will take an active role in these projects. 

 

We are now looking for a CTO to build a dream team with support from the other founders, advisors and investors.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop the MVP with your preferred stack

• Help hire and manage a strong development team

• Be responsible for product timelines and delivery

• Define and design consumer facing APIs

Required qualifications:

• Full-stack experience

• Experienced in leading teams. Ideally in a startup environment

• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical people

• Good understanding of early start-up dynamic and upside 

 

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with GIS

• Experience with climate risk assessment for financial institutions
